Sleepless in Studio City "The Critical Spirit" feat. award winning jazz vocalist, Kathy Kosins

DrDebzz Opening ShpielDo you have a “critical spirit?” Are you judgmental, accusatory, negative, disapproving, fault-finding, and nitpicking with yourself and/or others? Do you have at least one “critical" parent? You can break the cycle and transform into a nurturing positive supportive encouraging spirit! Calling all scientists out there: the planet is in desperate need of a vaccine to stop this rampant contagious epidemic that has thwarted society on every front on every level in every aspect in every capacity.  Short of an impossibly ingenious miraculous medical cure, only a high dose of adamant intention, firm commitment, unswerving single mindedness, steadfast staunch, stalwart perseverance, unshakeable persistence, and an unwavering resolve will do the trick.

Featured artist, ASCAP award winning vocalist, Kathy Kosins, grooves with her smooth sultry rendition of Kenny Gamble’s blues tune, “Drowning in a Sea of Love,” from her CD entitled "The Space Between." She’s accompanied by skilled masterful musicians at the top of their game: Tamir Hendelman on piano; Bob Hurst on bass; and Eric Harland on drums. Kathy reveals candid and heartfelt advice for aspiring artists, based on her more than three decades as an entertainer.

Stay tuned for the September 15th worldwide release of Kathy’s superb new single, “Uncovered Soul,” the title track from her CD to be released on February 9, 2018. Produced By 2x Grammy Winner Kamau Kenyatta, “Uncovered Soul” features la creme de la creme of superstar musicians: Eric Harland, drums; Kevin Axt, string/electric bass; Mitch Foreman, piano/synths; Munyungo, percussion; & Greg Moore (GMOE) guitar.

Guest Caller Lindsey from North Hollywood: While on vacation in Italy, I had an incredibly romantic and passionate affair and haven’t felt that way in a long time. Recently he cut off communication and I’m really sad and frustrated because I don’t know why. I blame myself for something I might’ve done wrong, an all too familiar pattern.

Write in question from Yvonne in Culver City: I’ve been dating a guy who has two daughters and he spoils them like crazy.  When I say anything he gets defensive and it’s putting a riff between us.

Weekly Confidence Booster/Esteem Builder: Just for today I will be unafraid.  Especially I will not be afraid to enjoy what is beautiful, and to believe that as I give to the world, so the world will give to me.
