Sleepless in Studio City: The 2 Magic Words are "I'm Sorry" feat. Kathy Kosins "Uncovered Soul"

DrDebzz** Opening Shpiel: The Two Magic Words: "I'm Sorry." Even if you're only 1% wrong and the other person is 99%, you can win much more than a million bucks by apologizing for your part.  You'll gain humility & esteem & give your partner the gifts of respect & honor.
There’s no need to forgive others if you love them just they way they are without any expectations. There’s no need to ask for forgiveness if you treat everyone BETTER than you want to be treated.  Do all the good you can by all the means you can in all the ways you can in all the places you can.

DrDebzz Closing Shpiel:  Forgive Yourself First! Give yourself the greatest gift of all - LOVE LOVE LOVE on yourself! Be your own cheerleader, join your own team, and be your own best friend!

Fall is the season to plant positivity seeds by brushing up on your affirmations. It’s important to speak in the present when affirming what or who you want to attract, such as “Thank you for bringing me the best partner for my growth.”

As the great Muhammad Ali expressed, “It’s the repetition of affirmations that leads to belief, once that belief becomes a deep conviction, things being to happen.”

Florence Scovel Sinn (1920’s) said, “We can’t always control our thoughts but we can control our words. Through repetition we impress the subconscious mind and then become masters of any situation.”

Guest Caller Dave from Playa Del Rey:  I'm trying to find a balance in my life through staying in shape, dream journaling, working, taking care of my mom. I’m still looking for romance and would like to be more involved in world affairs.

Write in question from Thomas of Jacksonville:  Is it cheating on your wife if you go to a prostitute?  Is watching porn cheating?

Confidence Boosters for the Week: Say as often as possible in front of the mirror with a big beaming smile from head to toe:

"I attract only healthy relationships and I am always treated well. I spend time with enthusiastic energetic supportive people. I forgive everyone in my past for all perceived wrongs and I release them with love. I face all challenges with ease poise grace and confidence. I have the courage to live my dreams. I am filled to the brim my cup runneth over with limitless love, light, and joy."

Kathy Kosins, the sultry stunning superb, elegant alluring captivating jazz singer, performs “Uncovered Soul” the title track from her soon to be released CD. Accompanying Kathy are master musicians all at the top of their game: the genius Mitch Forman on piano, Rhodes, and synths; the remarkable Eric Harland on drums; and the brilliant Kevin Axt on bass. It doesn’t get much better than that!!!

"Kosins' voice is rich, filled with that rare combination of range and resonance.”
“…a sound that melts you. She is simply wonderful to listen to."
"Kosins is a delightful surprise... reminiscent of Peggy Lee...worthy of Dinah Washington.”
“Kathy’s singing is technically flawless yet filled with a warmth and appeal that only the greatest singers achieve.”
"Kosins possesses a voice that communicates intimacy and focus.”

Sleepless in Studio City "Smiling is Contagious/Sensitivity is Sexy" w/Deb Bowman & Ted Howe

DrDebzz** Opening Shpiel: Everyone smiles in the same language. Smiling is contagious. Start a smile epidemic by smiling at everyone you encounter. Give yourself the biggest smile of all as you look deep into your eyes in front of the mirror and say “Hello Gorgeous! Hello Handsome!” Disconnect from your cell phone and the internet for 24 hrs. and connect to others by communicating face to face. Consider this concept: Sensitivity is Sexy and Vulnerability takes Courage! Remember to T.H.I.N.K before you speak. Consider: Is what I’m about to say T-houghtful, H-elpful, I-ntelligent, N-ecessary, K-ind?

Caller Rebecca from North Hollywood: I’ve been playing by the rules, being the “good girl” in dating, but that hasn’t been working. I keep attracting unavailable men! Eventhough I love, value, and cherish myself, I’m still super critical and a perfectionist.

Write in question from Stan in Oceanside:  How do you know who to trust?

Positive Affirmations: It is safe for me to speak up for myself.  My healing is already in process. There is always more to learn. I become more loveable each moment. It is now safe for me to release all of my childhood traumas and move into love.  I trust the Universe to help me see the good in everything & everyone. My life gets more fabulous every day.

Sleepless in Studio City "Heal Thyself Heal The Planet" feat. Deb Bowman

DrDebzz Opening Shpiel: What is your life purpose? How can you make the world a better place? How has your biggest emotional wound become your greatest asset? Heal your inner pollution & in turn transform the planet! Learn the value of ”mirror work." DrDebzz pays tribute to the selfless spiritual teacher, Louise Hay, for being a memorable influence in her life!

**DrDebzz offers personal phone life coaching sessions round the clock! Schedule a complimentary consultation at sleeplessinstudiocity@gmail.com

Guest Caller Jason: Why do women thinks it’s okay not to call back after meeting at a party, having great conversation, & giving me their phone number?

Stunning Jazz Vocalist Extraordinaire Deb Bowman performs “You Go To My Head,” featuring maestros: Dean Fransen, keys; Dave Tull, drums; & Kenny Wild, bass. Deb offers valuable advice for aspiring artists & candidly reveals the key to finding/keeping love.

Write in question from Terry in Seattle: I met a guy who looks good on paper, i.e. successful, nice looking, nice house, but never asks about me; shows up in flip flops and shorts; & lets me pay.  Am I missing something?

Positive Affirmations honoring Louise Hay: As I say yes to life, life says yes to me. I am beautiful & everybody loves me. I release all drama in my life. I only speak positively about those in my world. Negativity has no part in my life. There is plenty for everyone & we bless & prosper each other.  Life is good & so it is!

Sleepless in Studio City on "Time Management" feat. Amber Weekes

DrDebzz Opening Shpiel: How do you spend your precious time?  Are you a human “being" or a human “doing?” Are you surrounded with people who drain your energy, suck you dry, are “takers" rather than “givers?” Are you comfortable setting limits or are you more concerned with being liked and pleasing others? Wake up and smell the hummus powers that be! It’s urgent we create class curriculum that teaches the importance of internal needs rather than merely focusing on external qualities. How about a vaccine (love potion #9) against the rampant disease of verbal & emotional abuse, as a prerequisite to those assuming any position of authority, e.g. parents, teachers, administrators, and especially politicians!

Guest Caller Mary from North Hollywood: I’m wondering when it's a good time to introduce children to a relationship. My boyfriend of two years keeps his life with his 13 year old son separate and I feel left out. Whenever I bring up the issue, he says he doesn’t want to talk about it and changes the subject.

Write in question from Sandy in Baltimore: Does a woman expect me to pay for dinner on a first date? A second date? What’s the protocol?

Featuring jazz vocalist Amber Weekes performing “Summer Samba” accompanied by maestros: Eddie Olivieri, piano; Louis Van Taylor, flute; Joey Deleon, percussion; Sherman Ferguson, drums; Peter C. Ross & everyone on hand claps.  Amber offers valuable recommendations for aspiring artists and reveals what romantic love means to her.

Weekly WOW (Words of Wisdom): “Most folks are as happy as they make up their minds to be.” (Abraham Lincoln) I wish you happiness and the courage to choose to: be agreeable, look as well as you can, keep your voice low, be courteous, criticize not one bit, not find fault with anything, nor try to improve or regulate anybody but yourself.
