Sleepless in Studio City DrDebzz Dishing on "Kindness" feat. Angela O'Neill

DrDebzz Opening Shpiel
When you leave this planet it won't matter what kind of car you drove, the size of the house you lived in, or the amount of money in your bank account. What will matter is how you treated others.
Would those in your karass consider you gentle, generous, caring, charitable, trustworthy, reliable, civil, sympathetic, empathetic, polite, affectionate, hospitable, helpful, neighborly, benevolent, compassionate, supportive, encouraging, thoughtful?
The Yavneh Academy in Hancock Park hosts "Kindness Assemblies" with the belief that if children are able to put themselves in another child's shoes and feel their negative emotions, albeit sadness or embarrassment, they will be less prone to cruelty and bullying.
According to Dean Einhorn, "The things that move us and change us are not the information we read about; they're what we see other people do. We must teach our students to live by example."
Awards are presented to children who demonstrate an understanding of the difference between right and wrong, and make a choice or take action for what is right, even in a difficult situation.
Before you can be kind to others you have to be kind to yourself. Do you let derogatory self talk keep you from pursuing your passion and purpose? Do you allow others to exploit you because you're primarily focused on getting their approval. Do you beat yourself up with self lacerations, self sabotage, self incrimination? Do you put your needs last?
Six red flags are described to help discern when you're being covertly abused. Henceforth, you won't have to volunteer as the recipient of bad behavior. You deserve to be regarded with dignity, honor, and respect.

Write In Question
Carly in Asheville: I met a new guy and I'm trying to make time for him but my friends don't like him. They don't think he's good for me and are giving me lip. One of my girlfriends is demanding and possessive. She wants me to drive her places and I feel selfish if I'm not helping her, instead spending hours with him. I find it grueling to say no to her. My friends are important to me and I’m really torn because I don’t want to have to give them up.

Weekly WOW's (Words of Wisdom) from RUMI:
The quieter you become the more able you are to hear.
There is a voice that doesn't use words. Listen.
Raise your words not your voice.  It is rain that
grows flowers not thunder.

Confidence Boosters/Esteem Builders
"I’m loveable and valuable just the way I am. Something I take pleasure and delight in is my __________." (List five physical attributes, five emotional attributes, and five spiritual attributes, covering mind body and spirit.)

Practice your mirror work by saying this statement often while standing in front of the mirror looking deep into your eyes. That's where you'll see your soul, your chi, your essence. Tell yourself, "I adore admire and appreciate you. You are my hero(ine). You are a miraculous marvel exactly the way you are right here and right now!"
